Understanding the Equine Language
This session is for individuals who want to better understand horses and how they communicate. Participants have the opportunity to observe herd dynamics and learn to interpret horse's interactions with each other. They also learn the basics of “speaking equine” and a positive and successful way to interact with horses.

Stable Management
This session focuses on how to run your own personal barn and the basics of cost effective stable management. Topics include basic horse care, hay selection and storage, balancing nutrition, pasture management and selection, fencing types, flooring and footing, safety and ventilation.

Breeding 101
This session is for the individual who has a mare they would like to breed but does not know where to start. Topics include stallion selection, how to choose a mare for breeding, the importance of nutrition, creating a safe foaling environment, understanding the care needed for the prenatal and postnatal mare, signs of foaling, birthing a foal and working with your vet.

Horsemanship
This session gives individuals an opportunity to develop basic horse handling skills in such a way that the horse enjoys and eagerly anticipates human interaction. Topics include leading, lunging, long lining, trailering, and barn manners.

Bringing up Baby
This session is for the mare owner who wants to raise their own foal in a balanced way and have it reach its full potential. Topics include nutrition, handling, development, dental and basic health care, trimming, and more.
