Sunday, March 22, 2008 - Cathy will be presenting as a guest speaker on Equine Assisted Learning at Can-Am in London, Ontario at 1:00 P.M..
Major and his fans relaxing after an exhilarating sleigh ride. December 6, 2008 - Dante and Damascus went to a Chris Irwin Horsemanship Clinic with Cathy and Kelly. The big bay boys really enjoyed the experience and Cathy and Kelly learned a lot.
Dolby and Kelly compete in the Royal Winter Fair. October 20, 2008 - Damascus returned to Back of Beyond Equine Centre from his lease. All of us friends were very glad to see him.
October 5, 2008 - Back of Beyond Equine Centre hosted the Muskoka Saddle Club potluck lunch. The company was great, the fall colours were magnificant, and the food was delicious.
September 9, 2008 - Waltzking came to join the horses at the Back of Beyond Equine Centre. Waltzking (Wally) is an incredibly talented Hanoverian chestnut gelding. This magnificant gentleman is owned by Karen and Liam Parfitt. Welcome Wally!
August 25, 2008 - Dante was Horse of the Week.
August 21, 2008 - Back of Beyond Dolby made his debut at the Barrie Horse Show. He was very well behaved and received a fourth place ribbon in the sport pony line class. Congratulations Dolby!
August 9 and 10, 2008 - The Centre is hosting Chris Irwin training sessions and an EAPD
reunion. Closed to auditors.
August 4, 2008 - Damascus was Horse of the Week.
July 28, 2008 - Valkyrie was Horse of the Week.
July 21, 2008 - Cabaret was Horse of the Week.
July 5, 2008 - One Woman, One Horse, 6000 km.
Kimber Sider and her horse Katrina (a Percheron Hackney cross) stayed at the Back of Beyond Equine Centre for 10 days, for some rest and recuperation, as they made their way from coast to coast on their incredible journey.
July 4, 2008 - Johanna Neuteboom began working with the horses as the Natural Hoof Care Practitioner at the Back of Beyond Equine Centre. She is certified in barefoot trimming and has all the horses feet functioning beautifully. Johanna has a magical touch with horses and owns and operates Barn Boots.
Silly Wicket. May 31, 2008 - Back of Beyond Equine Centre hosted a Natural Horsemanship Clinic - Anne Gage (a gold certified Chris Irwin trainer) was the trainer. The turnout was phenomenal with over 30 spectators and 6 horses participating. Feedback was overwhelmingly in favor of more clinics.
