Equine Assisted Learning is a form of self discovery, guided by horses, in a hands-on learning environment. By working with horses, as non-judgmental teachers, participants mirror real life situations and develop problem solving skills, confidence, improved communication and enhanced creativity. Horses are especially suited for Equine Assisted Learning because they are intuitive beings that have the unique ability to magnify subtle human emotions. Equine respect, trust and focus can be earned only by individuals collaborating with the horse, developing clear boundaries and staying focused. Through Equine Assisted Learning, participants find within themselves increased self understanding and a greater sense of responsibility; therefore, improving their lives and social interactions.
